Accident Summary:

The aircraft commander used improper technique on take off from a steep slope. Over controlled of the cyclic and pedal to the left caused loss of RPM. The aircraft settled into the ground downwind on another slope and continued to slide and tumble down the side of a ridge. The aircraft caught fire going down the hill and was destroyed.
