 THE AIRCRAFT WAS HOVERING WITH 7 PAX 30 FEET ABOVETRAIKUNG AREA TO IONDUCT RPALLI G OPERATIONS WHEN THE 42 DEGREE GEAR BOX FAILED. THE AC EXECUTED A HOVERING AUTOROTATION HOWEVER, THE AIRCRAFT TERMINATED HARD RESULTING IN DAMAGE TO SKIDS AND CROSS TUBES. THE ACFT WAS SHUT DOWN WITH NO FURTHER DAMAGE.\\
